The NovusCMS team welcomes you to our new Help Desk. You might be asking "Why do I want a 'new Help Desk?'" Well here are just a few of the reasons we thought this would help:
- Big Brother is Watching -- we can track your request for help, our technicians response (accuracy and speed), your satisfaction, and our performance. This keeps us accountable to you!
- Little Brother is Watching -- before you even ask a "silly question" you can search the new Knowledge Base to see if anyone else has had the same curiosity. Also, search through old tickets to see if someone else has had the same problem and see if their solution would work for you.
- Equal Access -- when a technician contacts you about a problem, they'll have the entire history of that issue right on screen. You shouldn't have to explain yourself over and over when your issue gets escalated to a higher level programmer.
- Single File, No Cutting in Line -- Without a standard queue, our technicians seem to get pulled in so many directions. How do we prioritize it all? Well, now we can fairly and equitably tackle each request in the order submitted.
I need to add a DVD media file to our main District web page. It does not seem to take the file as a "file." Should I be trying to load it as an "image"? Anysuggestions about how to do this? I have two files to load, one is 410 MB and one is 280 MB. HELP??
